USA Today Coaches Poll is out
Florida State received 36 of a possible 61 first-place votes to keep them ahead of No. 2 Alabama. Oregon and Oklahoma swapped places within the top-5 for the second time this season, with the Sooners rising back to their preseason No. 3 ranking.
After its upset loss to previously unranked Mississippi State, LSU slipped from No. 8 to No. 18, the biggest drop of any team in the poll. The Bulldogs entered the poll at No. 16, while over in the SEC East, Missouri fell from No. 19 to out of the poll after losing to Indiana.
Clemson and North Carolina both exited the poll after their losses to FSU and East Carolina, respectively, with the Pirates entering at No. 24.
