Watch Abdul Adams Go 99 Yards Breaking Sooner Record
Abdul Adams broke a 99-yard run late in the first quarter to set the record for the longest play from scrimmage in program history.
Adams’ run broke the previous record of 96 yards set by both Jeff Frazier back in 1995 and Buck McPhail back in 1951.
It became just the 11th 99-yard rush in NCAA history and the first since Kenneth Dixon’s in 2014.
Adams finished with a team-high 164 yards on 11 rushes, a big chunk of that the record-breaker.
