The Sooners rocked Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Saturday night, protecting their home turf against the Tennessee Volunteers.
OU’s 34-10 victory wasn’t a cake walk. Tennessee challenged the Sooners defense, but OU’s playmaking ability on the defensive side of the ball has to make them one of the best units in the country.
The top five has been fairly consistent. Though, the Baylor Bears are knocking on the door as the new sixth-ranked team in the Coaches Poll.
The Kansas State Wildcats, at #20, are the only other Big 12 school ranked in this week’s Top 25.
There was some big movement this week, though. South Carolina climbed seven spots up to #16, while the other USC fell #10 to #21 following their upset loss to Boston College.
